‘Jaligny-Dauphin’ is an ancient house in a picturesque village in the Auvergne. This is a place where time stood still. The house is in the old village centre, very near an 11th Century church and a 14th Century castle.

Parts of the old city wall and the original city gate are still visible. Many of them were integrated into later buildings. The house was partly demolished at the beginning of the last century. It continued to be used as a dwelling.
It is believed that the last occupant was a motor mechanic who looked after the cars of the neighbouring castle. The accommodation was completely restored in 2007-2008. The original elements were preserved as much as possible. Over the years, ‘Jaligny-Dauphin’ has become a romantic, intimate home.
