The River Sioule meanders through the landscape just two kilometres away. The river is ideal for fishing, swimming and canoeing or just for relaxing. The small town of Ebreuil is about seven kilometres away. It has a bank, post office, shops and other facilities.
The historic City of Vichy with its spa resorts and Clermont-Ferrand, the biggest and most important city in the Auvergne, are well worth a visit. There is the Volcans d’Auvergne National Park with more than 80 volcanoes. ‘Puy de Dome’ is the most well known. This is a great area for walking in summer. You can enjoy ski runs and snow canons in winter. There are golf courses 27 and 31 km away.
