The farm (200 m²) is located in the small village of Szakácsi, situated in the centre of the Cserehát, a region on the Slovakian border. It reminds of the Dordogne. The village has 150 inhabitants, a shop, two churches and a restaurant and is surrounded by forest and fields. More..

There is a 4000 m² garden behind the farm, a roofed terrace of 20 m² and a veranda. There is a private swimming pool too. For a thermal pool you should go to Miskolc, at only 30 minutes by car from Szakácsi.

You can hold conferences in the conference room only 1 km away. The conference room is located in a bio model farm.

You can langlauf from the house (80 days snow a year), but there are no winter sports facilities.
You can ice skate on the fishing pond (2 km) and on the dam lake (25 km).

1. In the village is a horse center. Trips on horseback for one or more days are possible, just as a lessons for beginning riders. Please ask the owner.
2. In the village lives a Dutch watercolor painter with his family. He is able to give -on request- introductory lessons (2,5 hours) or a week course (5x 2,5 hours). Please ask the owner.
- The price includes a welcome package and a meal in a restaurant / catering on the 1st Sunday after arrival.
- You can use bicycles for free but they need to be booked per day with the manager.
- The central heating works with wood burning.
